Temporal Places

I love temporal places. I love airports, convenience stores. I love public transportation. I love riding a jeepney, taxi, bus, boat, airplane, anything. I love it so much that there are many times when I have round trips on jeepneys just for the heck of it, ride the MRT or LRT just for the heck of it, or travel without any particular destination in mind.

I also love hotels, motels, inns. I love staying in them. It’s one of my guilty pleasures: staying in hotels for a night even though I’m not a traveller, and I actually have a home to go back to.

I love them, and I don’t know why. I wonder if it matters.

  1. That’s fine to love those things. I have extremely bad anxiety and I hate those types of places but it also helps that I am doing more to relax and accept that I have to deal with those places. I cannot hide away forever.
